The official declared at a press conference, held on Saturday, in the city on the occasion of a visit by a delegation of representatives of Algerian travel agencies and media that 200 visitors, out of 1.5 million Algerian tourists who travelled to Tunisia last year, have stayed in Djerba due to high prices.
For his part, Youssef Ouchich, representative of a travel agency in Algeria, underscored that Algerian tourists prefer visiting Sousse and Hammamet because the distance is closer than other areas.
