Algeria: CEEG represents mega solar project in Washington

Electricity and gas engineering company (CEEG), a subsidiary of the group Sonelgaz, has presented Algeria’s 4,050 MW photovoltaic solar energy project, at an international forum in Washington, dedicated to the development of investment in energy in Africa, APS reported.

400 investors seeking to seize opportunities in Africa’s energy sector attended the forum.

GEEC was represented at the forum by its CEO, Mohamed Arkab, along with Algeria’s ambassador to Washington, Madjid Bouguerra, and the company’s director of investment and means of production, Ouidad Hamrour.

On the other hand, representatives of several US banks and governmental agencies, including World Bank officials partook in this occasion.
