Four Algerian and Libyan migrants have been arrested in Romania, as they were preparing to cross the borders into Hungary, local newspaper Aradon reported on Sunday.
The arrested migrants are between 17 and 28 years old. They tried to cross the border on foot but were arrested by Varsand police, the same source said.
The four migrants confessed to the security services that they were transported by taxi. To this end, the Romanian authorities recommended that citizens not transport unknown persons near the border.
