Reggane gas field will be launched by the end of the year, Sonatrach’s CEO Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour said on Tuesday during his visit at a gas site in Hassi R’mel.
The project, estimated at around $1 billion, is expected to have an annual capacity of 8 million cubic metres.
”This project has a three month delay, much better than Touat with an 11 month delay, said Sonatrach CEO Abdelmoumen Ould Kaddour, referring to another gas field as he announced the launch date for Reggane.
“We need to reach zero delay,” he told reporters during a visit to the field.
