A detachment of the People’s National Army has arrested, on November 6th 2017, four supporting terrorist groups’ elements in Batna, said Tuesday a statement from MDN.
In addition to this, elements of the National Gendarmerie seized, in Tebessa, a quantity of ammunition amounting to 3100 cartridges of different calibres.
As part of the fight against smuggling and organized crime, two smugglers were arrested while a truck, a passenger vehicle, 2048 units of pyrotechnic tablets and 6576 units of different drinks seized in El Oued and Biskra, added the same source.
On the other hand, detachments of the ANP have apprehended, in Tamanrasset and In Guezzam, thirty-one miners and seized ten generators, ten jackhammers, a metal detector and 1300 liters of kitchen oil, while 1000 bags of tobacco were seized in Bechar.
