Kenyan hoteliers, airlines, travel websites and hospitality stakeholders were celebrated, at the second edition of the Kenya Travel Awards held at Fairmont the Norfolk Nairobi, on Thursday.
The aim of Jumia Travel’s awards is to keep bettering the travel experience in Africa, and to position the awards ceremony as a key event in the travel and tourism sector in each country.
This year, the awards were held in nine African cities; including Algiers, Dakar, Abidjan, Accra, Douala, Dar Es Salaam, Kampala, Kenya and Nigeria.
Thus, under seven categories, the judges evaluated finalists by their diversification and quality of services, adherence to sustainable guidelines, guest personalization and engagement; as well as other determinants.
