The tests of live broadcast in HD and SD formats of the programs of the Algerian Public Television and National Radio channels on the Algerian telecommunications satellite Alcomsat-1 were “conclusive”, said Tuesday the director general of the Algerian Space Agency (ASAL), Azzedine Oussedik.
“The tests that began on March 26 on the Algerian satellite Alcomsat-1 and which will continue to be successful, are conclusive and concern the broadcast in HD (high definition) and SD (standard definition) all channels of the Algerian Public Television and the 57 channels of the National Radio, “said Oussedik during a press conference, hosted by the President and CEO of the Algerian Broadcasting Company (TDA), Chawki Sahnine and the CEO of Algeria Telecom satellite (ATS), Mohamed Anouar Benabdelouahed.
