Intelligence services arrested, this morning, Tuesday, 9th, 2019, Ennahar’s journalist, Smail Djerbal, who occupies the position of Editor-in-Chief, because of an article he published, yesterday, Monday, October, 08th, 2018, at Alg24 news website, according to Ennahar TV.
The arrest, which took place this morning in front of the Group’s headquarters, was proceeded without a judicial order, as mentioned by the same Channel.
For its part, Ennahar Group regretted the anarchist arrest, urging the judicial authorities to intervene for the release of the journalist.
It is worth mentioning that the Channel has highlighted that Ismail Djerbal is one of the best journalists at Ennahar Group, who used to praise the achievements and the efforts exerted by the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, in all spheres.
