Paris’ Court of Commerce issued, this Friday, an order following the judicial procedure initiated by the lawyer Delphine Meillet, instructing the French company ‘ Eutelsat to prevent Echourouk TV from broadcasting the TV series ‘Raïs Korso’, purchased by Ennaher TV to be broadcasted during the month of Ramadan as declared, last Saturday, April 20, by the right holder of this blockbuster series, the company ‘Ninty4 Vision’.
This order is considered as a preventive measure, prohibiting Echourouk TV from the total or partial broadcast of the TV series ‘Rais Korso’, according to the statement.
In the same vein, the communique indicated, also, that the company Ennahar Production FZ-LLC, owner of this television series, will, indeed, be able to sue the company Eutelsat in case of any infringement committed by the private channel Echourouk TV.
It is worth mentioning that this subpoena, issued by the Commercial Court of Paris, will be delivered to Eutelsat before April 30, 2019 at 17:00.
This is not the first time Echourouk TV and Eutelsat face legal actions. Earlier, the latter faced legal actions by the Turkish company Inter Medya ITV, exclusive distributor of the famous Turkish film series, for the illegal broadcast of the Turkish series ‘ Endless love’ or ‘ حب أعمى’ ( the chosen title in Arabic ).
