Algeria’s domestic football matches to be played behind closed doors over coronavirus

All domestic football will be put by the Government under lockdown and all remaining matches are to be played behind closed doors.

The President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has instructed the Government to organize all the remaining matches of Algerian Ligue1DZ season behind closed doors due to the coronavirus.

For its part, FIFA has also suspended Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the wake of COVID-19 which has so far killed over 3700 people globally.
