ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will chair, today, Sunday, Feb 28th, 2021, at the presidency’ headquarters, the Council of Ministers’ periodic meeting, announced the Presidency of the Republic.
The meeting will be devoted to discuss, and to take decisions on, a number of issues related to the improvement of national economy, and to follow-up on the conditions in which citizens’ concerns are being taken care of, the presidency of the republic’ statement added.
Earlier on Feb 21st, President Tebboune, chaired a periodic meeting of the High Security Council devoted to the assessment of the security, political and economic situation of the country.
“After having listened to the members of the High Council of Security about the questions listed on the meeting agenda, the President of the Republic gave instructions to the attending officials, each in his area of expertise,” said a statement from the presidency.
“President Tebboune praised the efforts exerted to preserve the general stability of the country, in particular with regard to the fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) and the successful launch of the vaccination operation,” the statement concluded.
