Africa Track Cycling Championships: Algeria snatches three medals on 3rd day

ALGIERS- CAIRO (Egypt)- Algerian cyclists have won three new medals at the Africa Track Cycling Championships, taking place in Cairo, Egypt, including one gold, received by Nesrine Houili, in the elimination race of junior girls events.

Noting that the Algerian cyclists snatched, on the 1st day of the competition, four medals (2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze).

The two gold medals were snatched by Nesrine Houili in the 500 meters and Scratch (junior / girls) events.

For its part, the Algerian selection (elite men), made up of Youcef Reguigui, Lotfi Thambaz, Hamza Yacine and Yacine Chalel, won the silver medal.

In the Olympic speed test (elite men), Algerians Oussama Cheblaoui, Nassim Saidi and Hamza Yacine, won the bronze medal.

On the second day, corresponding to Thursday, March 11th, 2021, the Algerian team gleaned 06 new medals, including three more gold ones.

Noting that The national team is present in the land of the Pharaohs with a total of 16 cyclists, including two juniors (girls).
