ALGIERS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, held, Saturday, in New York, consultations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar , which focused on relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, especially in the economic field in preparation for the upcoming bilateral meetings.
FM Lamamra wrote, in a tweet, on his Twitter account that he exchanged with his Indian counterpart “views on a number of international and regional issues, especially those on the agenda of the Security Council, as India is a non-permanent member.”
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
