ALGIERS- Infosys Limited a major Indian Information Technology company and a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting and Intervalle Technologies, an Algerian IT company with more than 13 years of experience in IT banking sector, have entered into a strategic partnership to address the needs of the banking sector in Algeria, announced the Embassy of India in Algeria.
In January 2022, added the communiqué, Infosys Finacle and Intervalle signed an agreement, making Intervalle a certified Reseller and Integrator partner of the Infosys Finacle solution, for Northern Africa and Francophone Africa. This is a unique and strategic partnership, that will go on to offer to the market the best in banking software by the market leaders - Infosys Finacle, and delivered by a local expert – Intervalle Technologies, ensuring banks in Algeria get the best technology platform in the long term.
In the backdrop of the agreement signed between the two companies, an inaugural event was organised by Infosys and Intervalle on 22 February 2022 at Hotel Marriot, under the theme ‘Scaling Digital- La feuille de route pour les banques algeriennes’. The event was attended by senior Algerian government officials, experts from the Algerian IT and banking industry, businessmen and media personnel.
In his keynote address, Ambassador of India to Algeria, Mr. Gaurav Ahluwalia informed that India has seen tremendous growth on the digital payment front in recent times and the strategic partnership between Infosys and Intervalle will contribute to transforming Algeria’s banking landscape while empowering Algerian citizens. Infosys gave a presentation on their core banking solution Finacle and how banks in Algeria can take advantage of the new opportunities offered by the company for their digital transformation, concluded the same source.
