ALGIERS- The president of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention and Fight against Corruption, Salima Mousserati, took part, on Monday, by videoconference, in the intersessional meeting of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which is held in Vienna (Austria) from September 5 to 9.
“The meeting is dedicated to follow-up on the achievements of the Political Declaration adopted during the special session of the UN General Assembly against corruption held from June 2 to 4, 2021,” said a statement from the Authority.
Mousserati gave a presentation on Algeria’s achievements in the fight and prevention of corruption, in particular the preventive provisions and the fight against corruption within the framework of the sustainable development program for the 2030 agenda, the press release underlined.
