Education – The printing process of the first edition of the 3rd year primary English book in Algeria has already been copmleted, pending their distribution, while the books of other subjects have already been marketed.
For its part, the National Office for Educational Publications announced the printing of one and a half million copies of the new English book, adding that the price of the book was set at 180 dinars.
Meanwhile, the same source pointed out that a version with Braille technology has also been printed.
President Tebboune orders teaching of English language in primary cycle:
Algeria is moving further away from its francophone history by introducing instruction in English in primary schools. The country is trying to improve learning and academic and professional opportunities. President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in a Council of Ministers meeting he chaired in June, ordered the teaching of English in primary school, after an in-depth study by experts and specialists.
President Tebboune reiterated his determination to review the law governing the teaching profession, in application of his commitments in terms of reforming the education system, while stressing the need to review educational curricula with reference to the pedagogical spirit, which has enabled the training, since independence, of an elite in various specialties.
