ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSM) chaired, on Sunday at the headquarters of the Supreme Court in Algiers, the opening of the new judicial year 2022-2023.
The opening ceremony took place in the presence of the speaker of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament), Salah Goudjil, the speaker of the People’s National Assembly (lower house of Parliament), Brahim Boughali, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane, the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chanegriha, Minister of Justice and the Keeper of the Seals, Abderrachid Tabi and members of the government and senior State officials.
In this vein, President Tebboune highlighted the remarkable progress in the implementation of the planned programmes, especially in terms of adapting legal texts to constitutional principles.
“We look forward during this judicial year to accelerating the pace of work in line with the new economic challenges,” said the President.
