Algeria: Moderate mag. 4.1 earthquake hits Boumerdès province

ALGIERS- A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit, on Sunday at 12:48 p.m. (local time), the province of Boumerdès, the Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics (CRAAG) said in a statement.

The earthquake was felt at 12:48 p.m. (local time), while its epicenter was located 22 km north of Ras Djinet in the wilaya of Boumerdes, specified the same source.

No casualties have been recorded so far….
