Algerian-German cooperation: Agreement to establish 100-plus startups inked

ALGIERS- The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, in charge of the knowledge economy and start-ups, as well as the German company for international cooperation, have signed an agreement on a project for the development of digital and green entrepreneurship, in presence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Elisabeth Wolbers.

The Algerian side was represented at the signing ceremony by the director of start-ups and support structures at the delegate ministry, Noureddine Ouadah and on the German side, Martina Valos, director of the German company for international cooperation in Algeria.

This agreement is part of the Algerian-German cooperation agreement concluded on November 25, 2021 in Algeria, it aims to “create more than 100 startups in the field of clean technologies over a period of four years, and this will also be an opportunity to benefit from the German experience in open innovation, incubation and acceleration”.
